FEEL CALLED?

Many people feel called but never step out in faith to do something about it. Let me help you.

Listen to this first.

God Needs You.

Firstly, I want you to know that God needs you.

Firstly, I want you to know that God needs you. That you possess something this world desperately needs and that your purpose has immense value and meaning. I’m so glad you feel a call into ministry and I want to give you some Biblical advice on your next steps. If you haven’t already, I encourage you to click the link provided above and listen to a podcast I have on this subject and then feel free to continue to scroll and read. I’m going to give you two very simple yet helpful points on how to pursue your calling effectively.

Lastly, I want you to know that you’re exactly the kind of person God is looking to use. It doesn’t matter where you come from or what social status you possess, God is just looking for a willing obedient vessel just like you.

Train.

Be diligent to present yourself approved to God, a worker who does not need to be ashamed, rightly dividing the word of truth.   2 Timothy 2:15
To pursue your calling Biblically you must be diligent in training concerning the Word of God which is the blueprint for your destiny in God. Whether this comes through personal discipleship with your Pastor , attending a Bible college full time , or any other method I encourage you to seek a deeper and more personal relationship with God and His Word before launching into your ministry. The Word is your weapon and tool that God equipped you with to accomplish the work of your ministry. Don’t depend on your own mind or intelligence , become a person whose only input stems from what God’s Word already says. This is a key to effective ministry. For how can you be wrong if you quote God ? Or how can what God has said not produce what it was sent to do ?  (Isa. 55:11)

Go.

He said to them, “Go into all the world and preach the gospel to all creation.”    Mark 16:15
For whatever reason, this seems to be the hardest step of ministry for everyone. Not the training or the learning but the doing. I pray you never fall into the trap of having every piece of brain knowledge possible about God but never possessing the faith and boldness to do what you know you can do through Him. There is no greater frustration than revelation without manifestation. What a tragic thing to know what you’re called to do, possess the knowledge to accomplish it, but never have the faith to step out upon the promise. I pray that will not be your story in Jesus name. You’re equipped for the conflict and you’re anointed to win. (Eph. 6:11) Don’t allow fear to keep you from what God is wanting to use you to do. Just go and do.
